Muzey 1989-yilda \u201cO\u2018zbekiston temir yo\u2018llari\u201d AJning 100 yilligi munosabati bilan ochilgan. Ushbu ochiq havo muzeyida 30dan ortiq lokomotivlar yig\u2018ilgan bo\u2018lib, ular bir vaqtlar mamlakat bo\u2018ylab muntazam ekspluatatsiya qilingan. \u201cTemir yo\u2018l texnikasi muzeyi\u201d nafaqat temir yo\u2018l transporti evolyutsiyasi ekspozitsiyasi, balki go\u2018zal bog\u2018 sifatida ham o\u2018ziga jalb qiladi.
